A new-generation extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy (ESWL) system — HK.ESWL X5 — has been commissioned at the National Scientific Medical Center for the treatment of urolithiasis.

The ESWL method is based on the targeted application of shock waves that break stones into small fragments, allowing them to be naturally eliminated from the body.
