The National Scientific Medical Center was honored to host an official visit from a delegation of Guangzhou Medical University (China). The purpose of the visit was to foster international cooperation in medical education, science, and clinical practice.
The delegation was welcomed by the Chairman of the Board of NSMC, Abai Baigenzhin. The meeting was also attended by Deputy Chairman for Medical Affairs, Bulat Gabassovich Kupenov, Head of the Urology Department, Erbol Amangeldinovich Iskakov, and cardiologist and international relations specialist, Gulzi Kusayinkhan.

— Vice President of the First Clinical Hospital affiliated with GMU, Professor Zeng Guohua

During the visit, the guests were introduced to the clinical facilities of the center, including the Urology Department and the International Tomotherapy Center “UMIT.” Special attention was given to advanced approaches in diagnostics and treatment, as well as the organization of interdisciplinary collaboration in high-specialty care.
The meeting took place in a warm and constructive atmosphere. Both parties expressed mutual interest in expanding academic ties, launching joint scientific projects, and exchanging expertise in high-tech areas of medicine.
